Human coagulation factor VIII (rDNA), simoctocog alfa

Treatment and prophylaxis of bleeding in paediatric and adult patients with haemophilia A (congenital factor VIII deficiency).

Available in vials of:

  • 250 IU
  • 500 IU
  • 1000 IU
  • 2000 IU

Shelf life two years (+2° to +8°C).

During the shelf-life, the product may be kept at room temperature (up to 25°C) for a single period not exceeding one month. Once the product has been taken out of the refrigerator the product must not be returned to the refrigerator. Please record the beginning of storage at room temperature on the product carton.

After reconstitution, chemical and physical in-use stability has been demonstrated for 24 hours when stored at room temperature. Nevertheless, to avoid microbial contamination, the reconstituted solution should be used immediately.

 

 

 

octanate® LV

Human coagulation FVIII

Treatment and prophylaxis of bleeding in patients with haemophilia A (congenital factor VIII deficiency).

This preparation does not contain von Willebrand factor in pharmacologically effective quantities and is therefore not indicated in von Willebrand disease.

octanate® LV 100 IU/ml and 200 IU/ml is presented as a powder and solvent for solution for injection.

 

Available in vials of:

  • 500 IU (100 IU/ml in 5 ml)
  • 1000 IU (200 IU/ml in 5 ml)

Shelf life two years.  Store in a refrigerator (+2°C to +8°C).

Do not freeze.  Keep the vials in the outer carton in order to protect from light.

Human von Willebrand factor (VWF) /

human coagulation factor VIII (FVIII)

Prevention and treatment of haemorrhage or surgical bleeding in von Willebrand disease (VWD), when desmopressin (DDAVP) treatment alone is ineffective or contra-indicated.

Haemophilia A:

Treatment and prophylaxis of bleeding in patients with haemophilia A (congenital FVIII deficiency).

 

Available in vials of:

  • 500 IU (100 IU/ml in 5 ml)
  • 1000 IU (100 IU/ml in 10 ml)


Shelf life three years (+2° to +8°C).

The stability of the reconstituted solution has been demonstrated for four hours at room temperature (maximum +25°C). Nevertheless, to avoid microbial contamination, the reconstituted solution should be used immediately.
