Therapeutic Indications

Restoration and maintenance of circulating blood volume where volume deficiency has been demonstrated, and use of a colloid is appropriate. The choice of albumin rather than artificial colloid will depend on the clinical situation of the individual patient, based on official recommendations.

Shelf Life & Storage

Three years shelf-life at room temperature (≤25°C).

Do not freeze. Store in the original container in order to protect from light.

Vial Sizes

Our licensed vial sizes are listed below:

  • 20% albunorm (10 g human albumin in 50 mL)

  • 20% albunorm (20 g human albumin in 100 mL)

  • 5% albunorm (5 g human albumin in 100 mL)

  • 5% albunorm (12.5 g human albumin in 250 mL)

  • 5% albunorm (25 g human albumin in 500 mL)
